at least 2 inches all around
you can fasten that one you did on a piece of wood the same A3 size ( use white glue )

Standard is approximately 2 inches, try out with the framer.

You don’t NEED a gap, but you should allow for that part of the edge of the image to be lost.
If that part of the image is that valuable, then, perhaps in laying out the composition, those parts should not have been so close to the edge. One of the risks of leave-taking a specific “gap” on the canvas is that if the framing is not too exact, the gap will show.
I suggest that you don’t be so “territorial” of your precious image’s “real estate.” Reassess how valuable that fine edge of your image is to your composition.
